2010 Requirements and Licensing:

This podcast explains the options and changes to system requirements, activation and licensing available in SolidWorks 2010.  Topics covered:

With SolidWorks 2010 Pre-release around the corner and the availability of SP0 to be out around early October (guessing), I thought we could dig into some of the questions that come up on licensing, activation, and system requirements.  This past week SolidWorks announced that they had updated the System and Hardware Requirements page on the SolidWorks website which prompted me to scan a few other changes around the site.  It has been a while since we covered common questions about activation and with the introduction of network licenses shipping without dongles, it was worth a revisit.

Also in the coming week I will be starting the What's New series, which I have now done for the past 3 releases, which goes through every page of the What's New PDF (link provided by Ricky Jordan) along with my own two cents!  This will probably increase the show delivery schedule by adding an additional show or two in order to cover the content by the time of launch.
