Over the years, I have heard customers call in with issues that could have been found in the SolidWorks help or Knowledge Base.  Now I know that the SolidWorks help file continues to get a bad rap due to the lack of pictures and specialized content but instead of focusing on any possible shortcomings, I thought I would point out some jewels that can get you on the right track or at least give you a few things to check first before having to call support in a panic.  The troubleshooting area of the help acutally has some good solutions to common issues that come up including the display and printing.

Most of the error messages though are not in the help so that is when the SolidWorks Knowledge Base comes in.  This was redesigned last year and give you a powerful way to refine your search to find that "1603" error message and find that you are not alone and there is a fix to get you back to work. ~Lou
