June Tech News:

This podcast covers the SolidWorks news that broke in June including 2009 SP4 and Beta 2010 launch.  Topics covered:

- June 1: Design Library Content Survey launches

- June 5: Announcement of SolidWorks 2010 Beta coming...

- June 9: SolidWorks Satisfaction Survey email invite sent out

- June 10: SolidWorks SP4 Early Visibility available for download (covering Release Notes & Mike Puckett's Blog)

- June 22: SolidWorks launches 2010 Beta Program

This was a very busy month with the launch of SolidWorks 2009 SP4 EV and now SolidWorks 2010 Beta 1.  There are some nice little nuggets coming into 2009 SP4 and addresses about 24 SPRs and should launch in the next weeks or so.  Beta 1 is now in full swing and will consist of 3 stages: Beta1 = 3 weeks, Beta2 = 2 weeks, Beta3 = 4 weeks (subject to change).

The beta home page has been updated and streamlined to make submitting bugs and getting your feedback to SolidWorks.  As I mentioned in the previous show, it is important that if you do decide to participate in the Beta Program that you get involved in the Beta Forum, Beta Brainstorm and Beta Bugstorm to share those "easter eggs", vote on bugs and how to improve the beta program.
